 in response to misslyn...   Hello again, I was thinking last night and you might try this, I know medicaid as resources and helps find doctors, get them to help you find a dietician, they can help you figure out the best soft foods for you to eat and you might try using a blender on something. You gotta do what you gotta do , right. You need to keep up the proper nutrician for you and your health needs, this might also benefit your husband as well. It can't hurt to give it a try. Also there is a website called Donate to me .com . You can write your needs and ask for help there and it is posted for people that want to help to read and possibly make donations to your cause. The website does have a small fee but if it works, then it's worth it. I'm considering doing it. As for what you said I do have a rotten tooth that needs pulling. What I am doing and have been doing to help supplement my income is I'm posting on craigslist to help people get organized in there home. In fact I did one yesterday and am going back today. I have another one for next tuesday. It's not going to pay for all my dental but it sure helps with other bills like car repair or whatever I need it for. Your husband might try that, maybe post an ad for honey-do's.You never know there's alot of single women out there that need help around the house. Or at least post what he is experienced in. I have made money when I've needed it by doing that. And that is how I survive on my small income. And yes I was dying when I got home but I do what I have to . I don't take meds for my arthritis, I deal with it, I take celebrex that's all. Anyway try what I've suggested and see what happens. Good Luck

I don't know anything about Arkansas, but here in texas medicaid won't even pay for extractions, They only xray and clean, but with me they won't even clean my teeth because I need a deep cleaning. So they blow me off too. I live on the same amount of money as you do and after rent and bills I have nothing left, I also have the beginnings of osteoporosis, and osteoarthritis. What you might try though is see if there is an organization that helps the elderly. Think outside the box. When you contact them tell them your dilemma and ask them for referrals. That is all I know to tell you. I am seriously considering figuring out a way to get the money I need by donations and going to mexico, they are much cheaper there, all you would need is lower dentures , that would be cheap. Look up dental in mexico. Take a mini vacaion if you have to. Also you might try contacting churches in your area that help with elderly, bills etc. That's about the best I can tell you.
